How long will I need to wear Invisalign®?
The length of treatment depends on your individual needs and the complexity of your case. On average, Invisalign® treatment can take anywhere from 6 months to 18 months. Your orthodontist will give you a more precise estimate during your consultation.
How often do I need to wear my Invisalign® aligners?
For the best results, it’s recommended that you wear your Invisalign® aligners for 20-22 hours per day, only removing them for eating, drinking, and brushing your teeth.
Can I eat and drink with Invisalign®?
Invisalign® aligners are removable, so you can take them out to eat and drink. This means you can continue to enjoy all your favorite foods without worrying about damaging your braces. Just be sure to brush your teeth before putting the aligners back in to maintain oral hygiene.
Are Invisalign® aligners comfortable?
Yes! Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign® aligners have smooth edges, making them comfortable to wear with minimal irritation to your gums and cheeks. You may experience slight discomfort when switching to a new set of aligners, but this is normal and typically resolves within a few days.
How often will I need to visit Papasikos Orthodontics during treatment?
